#LosCabosRules

Every once in a while an amazing opportunity just seems to appear out of thin air. Early on in quarantine, a friend of the agency (or a FOA, as I like to call them as of right now as I type this) reached out asking for a super quick campaign idea to share with his contact at Los Cabos Tourism. They wanted a campaign to tell people that while travel outside the States was at a standstill, Los Cabos actually was, in fact, open. Oh and naturally, we only had a few days to figure it all out.

For the campaign we tapped into the ubiquitous phrases all Americans were overly familiar with during the pandemic. Social distancing, wash your hands, remember your mask were all referenced but spun to fit the Los Cabos lifestyle. This little quick turnaround campaign has been referenced by NPR, LA Times and Adweek, and, more importantly, has helped drive strong visitor numbers through an insanely tough time for the tourism industry.
